Secretary Haaland made history when she become the first Native American to serve as a cabinet secretary. On her recent visit to Los Angeles I had the honor of of spending some quality time with her. She previously served as a Congressmember and is a member of the Pueblo of Laguna in New Mexico. She is intelligent, powerful and humble. Such a excellent example of good leadership.
