Most of us live our life in at a fast pace; we wake up go to school/work and never give our own happiness a second thought. However when you stop and think about it, we can all do work to increase our happiness. Happiness is a choice.
One of the key messages of the book is, you are the foundation of all relationships in your life, if you are happy you will have happier relationships.
In the book I have added a simple evaluation, the SHE (Self Happiness Evaluation) test. This is not gender based and can be utilized by everyone.
The SHE test is a simple yet profound evaluation, which requires you to take a look in the mirror and ask yourself two easy questions.
What percent of the time are you happy?
What percent of the time are you not?
Of course there is not a right or wrong answer, it is different for each individual. It is important to be honest because if you are not honest you are only lying to yourself.
Happiness is a state of mind. We can choose happiness no matter what obstacles are put in front of us or no matter how much money we have.
When you are faced with a challenge, ask yourself the question, what am I suppose to learn from this lesson?
We all have baggage and issues, which get in our way from realizing our full potential. We all deserve to be happy but many of us need to work on our issues and release the past before we can truly find the state of mind called happiness.
